Bee May

FdSc/BEVA/BVDA/BAEDT

I am a fully qualified Equine Dental Technician, recognised by BEVA (British Equine Veterinary Association), BVDA (British Veterinary Dental Association) and a member of BAEDT (British Association of Equine Dental Technicians).

In 2012, I graduated from Hartpury College, University of the West of England (UWE) with an Fd.Sc Equine Dental Science degree. After graduating, I continued training for another two years under Chris Keate BAEDT, a well known Equine Dental Technician and examiner for the BEVA/BVDA practical exam. In 2014, I passed the BEVA/BVDA Equine Dental Technicians exam to become a fully qualified and insured and official recognised member of the BAEDT.

My aim is to consistently provide the highest quality service for both Horse and Owner. Professionalism and competence is paramount as a dental technician for peace of mind in your horse's wellbeing, and I approach every situation in a calm and collected manner.

I have been around horses nearly all my life, sitting on my first horse at the age of 3. I have been a member of the Hampshire Hunt Pony Club and competed to a high level in both Showjumping and Eventing, and have also been involved in running both a Livery yard and a Competition yard.

Alongside my passion for the equine world, other interests like singing and drawing fill the majority of my down time. In 2006 I competed at the Choral Olympics in China with the Farnham Youth Choir, bringing home two Silver medals. I also love dog training and agility, and am currently training two new additions to the family; a Black Labrador called Joey and a Cocker Spaniel called Milo.
